BRAUN D124.1S2U2M is a specialized Speed and Direction Monitor from BRAUN Industrie-Elektronik, Germany, designed for reliable monitoring of rotating machinery. The unit is compatible with BRAUN A5S3 series speed and direction sensors and provides speed indication, direction monitoring, speed alarm contacts and an optional analog output. Its compact snap-on-track housing makes installation and integration into industrial control panels convenient.

BRAUN D124.1S2U2M – Applications

The D124.1S2U2M is particularly suitable for applications where incorrect rotation, overspeed or loss of rotation can create equipment or process risks. Typical applications include turbines, pumps, compressors, motors, conveyors, feeders and other rotating equipment.

With speed and direction information available from the A5S3 sensor series, the system can be integrated into PLC, DCS or machine protection systems for alarm and process monitoring. The D124.1S2U2M supports 85–265 VAC/DC, with an extended operating temperature range of approximately -20°C to +65°C.
