MOOG Servo Valves are high-performance electro-hydraulic control valves designed for extremely precise control of position, speed, pressure and force. Unlike conventional hydraulic valves, MOOG servo valves use closed-loop spool-position feedback, available in mechanical-feedback (MFB) or electronic-feedback (EFB) configurations. Technology Advantages: Accuracy, Safety and Durability

The 761 Series, for example, provides rated flows from 0.5 to 75 L/min, maximum operating pressure up to 350 bar, and step response below approximately 4–16 ms, depending on configuration. Its nozzle-flapper pilot stage provides high dynamics, high resolution and low hysteresis.

For higher-flow systems, the D661 Series supports approximately 20–200 L/min rated flow, up to 250 L/min maximum flow, 350 bar operating pressure and response times as fast as 6.5 ms depending on configuration.

MOOG also emphasizes long service life through precision feedback technologies and robust construction. The company's servo-valve development includes carbide feedback-ball and ball-in-hole technology designed to reduce wear; MOOG has described its long-life target as exceeding one billion cycles under appropriate conditions.
